Regional KYC Risk Team Lead - Wise Platform

1. Develop and implement regional KYC risk management strategies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and manage a team of KYC analysts, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure effective and efficient operations.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop action plans to address any issues.
4. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to KYC and proactively implement changes to ensure compliance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product, to evaluate and improve KYC processes and systems.
6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement in the KYC process.
7. Conduct training and provide guidance to internal teams on KYC processes and requirements.
8. Act as a subject matter expert on KYC regulations and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
9. Manage relationships with external partners, such as regulators and law enforcement, to ensure timely and accurate responses to any inquiries or investigations.
10. Continuously review and update regional KYC policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
11. Communicate and report on regional KYC risk management activities and progress to upper management and other stakeholders.
12. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and foster a strong sense of accountability and ownership within the team.
13. Handle escalated KYC cases and provide support to resolve any complex issues.
14. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for new strategies and technologies to improve the KYC process.
15. Act as a brand ambassador for TransferWise, promoting our mission and values both internally and externally.
