  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of global payment operations for TransferWise.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
  3. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of millions of transactions per day.
  4. Monitor and analyze payment processing data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  5. Lead and manage a team of payment operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as product and engineering, to develop and implement new payment features and services.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize processes.
  8. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve the overall efficiency and profitability of payment operations.
  9. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to payment processing in a timely and effective manner.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain strong relationships with payment partners and vendors.
  11. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
  12. Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  14. Act as a point of contact for escalations and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize processes to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency.

They Should Also Be Familiar With Emerging Technologies And Trends In The Payments Industry.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Payment Operations Head Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Trends, And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Operational Efficiency.
