1. Develop a deep understanding and knowledge of all wines carried by Total Wine & More, including their origins, flavor profiles, and recommended pairings.
2. Engage with customers to provide personalized wine recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
3. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and changes in the wine market to continuously expand knowledge and expertise.
4. Conduct wine tastings and educational events for customers, both in-store and virtually, to promote and increase sales.
5. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by actively listening and addressing customer concerns or inquiries.
6. Maintain a clean and organized wine section, including properly stocking shelves and rotating inventory.
7. Collaborate with team members to create eye-catching and informative displays to highlight featured wines and promotions.
8. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through effective communication and sales techniques.
9. Act as a brand ambassador for Total Wine & More, representing the company and its values in a positive and professional manner.
10. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth through training, certifications, and networking events.
11. Uphold all company policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service and safety standards.
12. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating with management about product needs and preferences.
13. Collaborate with management to identify and implement strategies to increase wine sales and overall customer satisfaction.
14. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
