- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Educate customers about different wines, including varietals, regions, and flavor profiles.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect wine for their needs, including pairing suggestions and recommendations.
- Continuously expand knowledge of wine through research, tastings, and training sessions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new releases to make informed recommendations to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regularly stocking and rotating wine displays.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate with team members to create engaging and informative wine events and tastings.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
- Contribute to achieving sales goals by actively promoting and upselling products.

Wine Certifications: While Not Always Required, Holding A Wine Certification Such As Certified Specialist Of Wine (Csw) Or Wset Level 3 Can Be A Valuable Asset For A Wine Specialist Position At Total Wine & More.
