1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
2. Educate customers about different wines, including varietals, regions, and flavor profiles.
3. Assist customers in finding the perfect wine for their needs, including pairing suggestions and recommendations.
4. Continuously expand knowledge of wine through research, tastings, and training sessions.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new releases to make informed recommendations to customers.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regularly stocking and rotating wine displays.
7. Build and maintain relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
8. Collaborate with team members to create engaging and informative wine events and tastings.
9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
10. Contribute to achieving sales goals by actively promoting and upselling products.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service.
12. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
13. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular inventory counts.
14. Conduct wine tastings and presentations for customers and staff.
15. Represent the company and its values by providing a positive and professional image at all times.
