Spirits Consultant

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Spirits Consultant to join our team and share their expertise with our customers. As a Spirits Consultant, you will have the opportunity to educate and guide our customers on the vast world of spirits, from single malt scotch to craft gin, and everything in between. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding and appreciation for spirits, as well as exceptional customer service skills. 1. Educate and Guide Customers: The primary responsibility of a Spirits Consultant is to educate and guide customers on the various types of spirits available at Total Wine & More. This includes providing information on different brands, flavor profiles, and production processes.
2. Share Expertise: As a knowledgeable and passionate Spirits Consultant, you will be responsible for sharing your expertise with customers and helping them make informed purchasing decisions. This may include conducting tastings, recommending pairings, and answering questions about different spirits.
3. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Customer service is a top priority for Total Wine & More, and as a Spirits Consultant, you will be expected to provide exceptional service to all customers. This includes greeting customers, assisting with their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
4. Maintain Product Knowledge: It is crucial for a Spirits Consultant to have a deep understanding and appreciation for spirits. You will be responsible for continuously expanding your knowledge of products, staying up-to-date on industry trends, and sharing this information with customers.
5. Demonstrate Product Expertise: In addition to sharing your knowledge with customers, you will also be responsible for demonstrating product expertise through organizing and maintaining shelves, creating displays, and making recommendations to customers.
6. Meet Sales Goals: As a member of the sales team, a Spirits Consultant will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals. This includes actively promoting products, upselling and cross-selling, and helping to increase overall store revenue.
7. Collaborate with Team Members: A Spirits Consultant will work closely with other team members, such as wine consultants and store managers, to create a cohesive and successful sales environment. This may include collaborating on promotions, events, and customer service strategies.
