1. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures to protect company assets and minimize losses.
2. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
3. Monitor and analyze store operations, inventory, and financial data to identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
4. Utilize surveillance systems and other tools to monitor store activities and investigate any suspicious behavior or incidents.
5. Collaborate with store management and team members to ensure compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures.
6. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
7. Conduct internal investigations into suspected theft, fraud, or other losses and prepare detailed reports for management.
8. Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams to handle any criminal incidents or cases.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in loss prevention practices, and make recommendations for improvement.
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loss prevention activities.
11. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on loss prevention efforts and results.
12. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
13. Respond to emergencies or security breaches in a timely and appropriate manner.
