Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team and help us maintain accurate inventory levels at our stores. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with the products our customers love. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the beverage industry.   1. Maintain accurate inventory levels at all store locations.
  2. Conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory records.
  3. Monitor product availability and ensure shelves are stocked with popular items.
  4. Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate restocking of products.
  5. Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues.
  6. Collaborate with store managers to create and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  7. Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory levels.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
  9. Train and supervise other team members on inventory management processes.
  10. Communicate with vendors to resolve any inventory-related issues.
  11. Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  12. Implement and maintain efficient organization systems for inventory storage.
  13. Adhere to all safety and security protocols in regards to inventory management.
  14. Continuously seek out ways to improve inventory management processes and procedures.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring products are readily available for purchase.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems: The Inventory Specialist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of How To Use Inventory Management Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, To Track And Manage Inventory Levels.

  • Attention To Detail: Inventory Management Requires Precise Tracking And Organization Of Products. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Minimize Errors.

  • Experience With Inventory Control Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control Procedures, Such As Cycle Counting, Stock Rotation, And Replenishment, Is Essential For An Inventory Specialist To Effectively Manage Inventory Levels.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Inventory Specialist Will Work Closely With Other Departments, Such As Purchasing And Sales, To Ensure Inventory Levels Are Accurate And Meet Demand. Strong Communication Skills Are Necessary For Effective Collaboration.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Total Wine & More Is A High-Volume Retail Environment, And The Inventory Specialist Must Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Setting. This Includes The Ability To Multitask, Adapt To Changing Priorities, And Work Efficiently Under Pressure.
