- Manage inventory levels: The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of wine, spirits, and beer in our stores.
- Perform inventory audits: Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies. This includes physical counts and reconciling data in our inventory system.
- Order and receive inventory: Utilizing our inventory system, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for placing orders with suppliers and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of inventory to our stores.
- Monitor product expiration dates: The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for tracking expiration dates and removing any expired products from inventory to maintain the quality and freshness of our products.
- Coordinate with suppliers: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory, and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders.
- Collaborate with store teams: The Inventory Specialist will work closely with store teams to understand their inventory needs and ensure proper stocking of products in each store.
- Analyze inventory data: Utilize inventory reports to analyze trends and make recommendations for improving inventory management processes.
- Train and support store teams: Provide training and support to store teams on inventory management processes and procedures.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness: Ensure inventory storage areas are organized, clean, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory-related projects: The Inventory Specialist may be involved in special projects related to inventory management, such as implementing new systems or processes.
- Stay current on industry trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
