Welcome to Total Wine & More! We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. Your exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail will be key in maintaining the proper levels of stock and preventing any discrepancies.   1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all products in the store.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels to the appropriate team members.
  3. Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring all products are properly logged and stocked.
  4. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies with the inventory management system.
  5. Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products.
  6. Coordinate with store management to identify slow-moving or excess inventory and develop strategies to address them.
  7. Ensure all products are properly labeled and organized on the sales floor according to company standards.
  8. Train and supervise other team members on proper inventory procedures.
  9. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any inventory-related issues.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  11. Adhere to all safety and security procedures while handling inventory.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve inventory management processes and procedures.
  13. Stay informed about industry trends and developments related to inventory management.
  14. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product location and availability.
  15. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to support inventory needs for promotions and special events.
