1. Conduct in-depth research and stay updated on industry trends, products, and brands within the beverage world.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting the right beverages for their needs and preferences.
3. Educate customers on different types of wines, spirits, and beers and their flavor profiles.
4. Create and conduct beverage tastings and events to showcase new products and educate customers.
5. Maintain a clean and organized beverage department, including stocking and rotating products.
6. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ordering new products as needed.
7. Collaborate with management to create effective sales strategies and promotions for beverages.
8. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of top-quality products.
9. Train and mentor new employees on beverage knowledge and customer service skills.
10. Keep accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.
11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the beverage department and enhance the customer experience.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation regulations.
13. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
14. Stay updated on and comply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
15. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improving overall store operations.
