- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting the perfect beverage for their needs and preferences.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the beverage industry to make recommendations and answer customer questions.
- Continuously expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all products are properly stocked and priced.
- Collaborate with team members to create engaging displays and promotions to drive sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty.
- Conduct tastings and educational events to showcase products and educate customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with management to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Assist with ordering and receiving inventory as needed.

Extensive Knowledge Of Various Beverages: A Beverage Specialist At Total Wine & More Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Different Types Of Beverages Such As Wine, Spirits, Beer, And Non-Alcoholic Drinks. This Includes Knowledge Of Production Processes, Flavor Profiles, And Food Pairings.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Beverage Specialist, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, Providing Recommendations And Assisting With Purchases. Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Listen To And Understand Customer Needs, Are Essential For This Role.
Sales And Marketing Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Background In Sales And Marketing, As They Will Be Responsible For Promoting And Selling Products To Customers. This Includes Creating Displays, Organizing Events, And Implementing Marketing Strategies To Drive Sales.
