1. Collaborate with the team of Wine Buyers to research and identify emerging trends in the wine industry.
2. Utilize strong knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and production methods to assist in curating a diverse and high-quality selection of wines for customers.
3. Conduct market analysis and research to identify new and innovative wine products to add to our selection.
4. Build and maintain relationships with wine vendors and distributors to negotiate competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of products.
5. Assist in managing inventory levels, including monitoring sales data and making recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products.
6. Provide exceptional customer service by offering knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions to customers based on their preferences and needs.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry news, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
8. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional strategies and events to drive wine sales.
9. Conduct regular tastings and attend industry events to expand knowledge and expertise in the wine industry.
10. Assist in training and mentoring new team members on wine knowledge and sales techniques.
11. Maintain accurate and organized records of product information, pricing, and vendor relationships.
12. Continuously evaluate and improve the wine selection process to ensure the best quality and variety for customers.
