Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Wine Buyer to join our team and help us curate the best selection for our customers. As the Assistant Wine Buyer, you will work closely with our team of experienced buyers to source, purchase, and promote a diverse and high-quality selection of wines. We are looking for a candidate who is knowledgeable, creative, and dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience.   1. Collaborate with the team of experienced buyers to identify and source new and unique wines to add to our selection.
  2. Conduct research on current market trends and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions.
  3. Attend wine tastings and events to expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  4. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and maintain profit margins.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory.
  6. Create and maintain relationships with wineries and distributors to ensure a reliable and diverse supply of wines.
  7. Assist in the development of promotional strategies and marketing campaigns to increase sales and customer engagement.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by offering expert recommendations and knowledge about our wine selection.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and informative content for our website and social media platforms.
  10. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the wine selection.
  11. Assist in the training and development of new team members in wine knowledge and buying processes.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all wines are properly stored and displayed.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Wine Industry: The Assistant Wine Buyer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Wine Industry, Including Different Types Of Wines, Regions, And Production Processes.
