  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and ensure their satisfaction with our UPS systems.
  2. Conduct on-site maintenance and repairs of UPS systems for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Perform routine preventative maintenance on UPS systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  4. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with UPS systems and develop effective solutions.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to schedule service appointments and provide updates on maintenance and repairs.
  6. Keep accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
  8. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and expertise and provide support when needed.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing on-site repairs and maintenance.
  10. Represent Toshiba with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: A Ups Field Service Technician At Toshiba Should Possess A Strong Technical Background And Knowledge Of Ups Systems And Their Components. This Includes Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Components, Troubleshooting Techniques, And Knowledge Of Relevant Software And Tools.

  • Experience In The Field: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working As A Field Service Technician, Preferably In The Ups Industry. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Work With Ups Systems And Related Equipment, As Well As Experience In Customer Service And Problem-Solving.

  • Certification: Toshiba May Require Candidates To Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Comptia A+ Or Network+, Or Specific Manufacturer Certifications For Ups Systems. These Certifications Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In The Field And Make Them Stand Out As Qualified For The Job.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Field Service Technician, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential. They Should Also Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Physical Ability And Flexibility: This Role Requires The Candidate To Work In Various Settings, Including Outdoor And Industrial Environments. They Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Equipment, Climb Ladders, And Work In Confined Spaces. Flexibility In Terms Of Working Hours And Travel May Also Be Required For This Job.
