Job Description

Tommy Hilfiger is looking for an experienced Lead Cashier to join our team and take the initiative in providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will be a hardworking, organized individual with the ability to multitask and think on their feet. The Lead Cashier will be responsible for supervising the cashier staff, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions, and providing a pleasant and safe shopping experience for our customers.To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of one year of cashier experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to provide a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all sales transactions. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to take initiative to solve customer issues. Knowledge of retail store operations and POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise cashier staff to ensure accuracy in sales transactions and customer satisfaction.
  2. Monitor and manage cash drawer, ensuring that all money is properly accounted for.
  3. Update and maintain customer information in the POS system.
  4. Train and mentor new cashiers on cash handling procedures and customer service techniques.
  5. Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Ensure store policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Monitor merchandise levels and restock shelves as needed.
  9. Prepare end-of-day reports and deposit cash and checks.
  10. Assist in other areas of the store, such as stocking shelves, as needed.
