Job Description

Welcome to Tommy Hilfiger, where we strive to provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lead Cashier. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash register and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and efficient. This is a key role in our store, as you will be the final point of contact for our customers before they leave with their purchases. We are looking for someone who is able to lead by example, has excellent communication skills, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for fashion and providing exceptional customer service, we would love for you to join our team.

  1. Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  2. Train and supervise cashiers to ensure they are following company policies and providing excellent customer service.
  3. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overages to management.
  6. Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile registers at the end of each shift.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
  8. Assist in opening and closing procedures, including preparing cash drawers and counting cash.
  9. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  10. Act as a role model for customer service and professionalism.
  11. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  13. Train new cashiers on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  14. Assist with scheduling and managing breaks for cashiers.
  15. Actively seek opportunities to improve the customer shopping experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Customers, And Management. Must Be Able To Give Clear Instructions And Provide Constructive Feedback.

  • Cash Handling Experience: Proficiency In Handling Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions Accurately And Efficiently. Experience With Pos Systems And Cash Registers Is Preferred.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Resolve Conflicts. Must Be Able To Set And Achieve Sales Goals, And Maintain A High Level Of Customer Service.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced Environment. Must Be Able To Maintain Accurate Cash And Inventory Records, And Ensure Proper Store Merchandising And Visual Standards Are Met.
