Job Description

We at Timberland are excited to announce a new role in our Training Department: Retail Training Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our retail stores across the United States. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for training and education, an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to help our teams succeed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of retail training experience, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Above all, we are seeking a creative and energetic individual who is committed to providing an excellent customer experience in our retail stores. Responsibilites:

  1. Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for retail stores across the United States.
  2. Utilize innovative methods to ensure the success of retail teams.
  3. Identify and address training needs of retail stores, both in-person and remotely.
  4. Conduct regular training assessments to evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
  5. Develop and implement innovative approaches to training, such as virtual and augmented reality.
  6. Track and analyze training metrics to measure success of training programs.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure training initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.
  8. Provide feedback and coaching to retail teams to improve customer experience.
  9. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of retail industry trends and best practices.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
