Job Description

If so, the Retail Operations Manager position at Timberland may be the perfect fit for you! We are looking for a professional with outstanding organizational and communication skills who is able to successfully drive sales and provide exceptional service. The Retail Operations Manager must be able to develop and execute an effective strategy to maximize the performance of the store and ensure a positive customer experience. This individual should also be able to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the store is running efficiently.The ideal candidate should have at least five years of retail management experience, as well as a strong understanding of store operations, marketing, merchandising, and customer service. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage a team, are essential. An understanding of the local market and trends is also desired.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and develop strategies to maximize the performance of the store and ensure exceptional customer service.
  2. Develop and execute effective store operations plans.
  3. Manage and develop staff to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
  4. Lead team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  5. Analyze store performance data to identify areas of improvement and ensure the store is running efficiently.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  7. Monitor trends in the local market to ensure the store is up-to-date on the latest products and services.
  8. Train and develop staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and services.
  9. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
