Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team at Timberland and take our HR capabilities to the next level. This key role requires a strong leader who is passionate about developing and implementing best-in-class HR practices that will support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a retail environment, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. They should be proactive and have a positive attitude while possessing the ability to multi-task effectively. If you have a genuine passion for developing and implementing HR initiatives that will drive employee engagement and organizational success, this is the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
  2. Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on all HR-related matters.
  3. Lead hiring and recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
  4. Lead employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  5. Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Provide input to budget development and manage the HR budget.
  8. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
  9. Foster a positive team environment and ensure team members are provided with the necessary tools and support to achieve success.
  10. Develop and implement employee training and development programs.
