Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join the Timberland team and help us take our commitment to sustainability to the next level. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement sustainability initiatives to help reduce our environmental footprint and foster a culture of sustainability throughout our organization.To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of sustainability, environmental regulations, and corporate social responsibility. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sustainable initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of the organization.
2. Monitor and analyze changes to environmental regulations, and develop strategies to ensure compliance.
3. Manage corporate social responsibility initiatives to ensure they are in line with the organization’s sustainability goals.
4. Research and evaluate sustainability trends and best practices, and recommend changes to existing policies and procedures.
5. Facilitate workshops and other events to educate and engage employees on sustainability topics.
6. Work with stakeholders, such as suppliers, partners, and customers, to ensure alignment with the organization’s sustainability objectives.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, industry experts, and other organizations to stay informed on sustainability practices and trends.
8. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on sustainability initiatives and progress.
9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives, and recommend changes as necessary.
