Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced therapist to join our team as a specialist in working with children, adolescents, and families.   1. Provide therapeutic support and guidance to children, adolescents, and families in order to promote their mental health and well-being.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each client.
  3. Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other therapists.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment goals and progress.
  7. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices and treatment modalities.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the provision of therapy services.
  9. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
  10. Advocate for clients and their families to ensure they receive the best possible care.
  11. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
  12. Serve as a positive role model for clients and uphold the values and mission of the organization.
  13. Collaborate with community resources and make appropriate referrals for additional support.
  14. Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  15. Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary.
  16. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  17. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  18. Complete all required documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  19. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
  20. Attend trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Communicate Effectively With Clients And Their Families.

  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Providing Therapy To Children, Adolescents, And Families.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Trauma-Informed Care And Evidence-Based Practices For Youth And Families.

  • Current Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure In The State Of Illinois As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Lcpc), Or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Lcp).
