
Team Leader - Homeless Outreach Program

- Lead and manage a team of professionals in the Homeless Outreach Program.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with the homeless population.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate program activities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with program goals, objectives, and budget.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of program activities and client progress.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes empathy, respect, and collaboration.
- Handle any conflicts or issues within the team in a professional and timely manner.
- Represent the program and agency in meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in homeless outreach and services.
- Support and participate in fundraising and community outreach efforts.
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
Experience: A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Working With Individuals Experiencing Homelessness, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Knowledge Of Homeless Services: In-Depth Knowledge Of Homeless Services, Including Housing Resources, Mental Health Services, And Substance Abuse Treatment Programs.
Leadership Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, With Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
Cultural Competency: Demonstrated Understanding Of And Sensitivity To The Diverse Needs Of The Homeless Population, Including Individuals With Mental Illness And Substance Use Disorders.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Social Work, Psychology, Or Human Services Is Preferred. A Master's Degree In A Related Field Is A Plus.
