Previous experience working with individuals with mental illness is preferred. - Provide support to the 2025 Community Mental Health program by assisting with program planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Conduct intake assessments and screenings to determine client needs and eligibility for services.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling sessions.
- Assist with crisis intervention and management for clients in acute distress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment planning.
- Assist with outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health services and resources.
- Provide support and assistance to clients in navigating the mental health system and connecting them to appropriate resources.
- Attend trainings and workshops to expand knowledge and skills in the mental health field.
- Uphold the values and mission of Thresholds in all interactions with clients and the community.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines when working with clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods.
Experience Working With Diverse Populations, Including Individuals With Severe Mental Illness.
