Crisis Support Specialist - Living Room

1. Provide crisis intervention services to clients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the immediate needs of clients and develop an appropriate plan of action.
3. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to ensure clients receive the necessary support and services.
4. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to de-escalate crisis situations and promote wellness.
5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and progress.
6. Provide individual and group support and counseling to clients in crisis.
7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
8. Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the mental health system.
9. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients in the Living Room program.
10. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement crisis prevention and intervention strategies.
11. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to provide education and support.
12. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards.
13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and case conferences.
14. Assist with crisis hotline coverage and other program duties as needed.
15. Continuously evaluate and monitor client progress and make appropriate referrals for additional services as needed.
