Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Training and Documentation Coordinator/Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific.   1. Develop and implement training programs: Create and execute training programs for employees and clients on company products and services.
  2. Create accurate and user-friendly documentation: Produce documentation that is easy to understand and navigate for both internal and external audiences.
  3. Conduct research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training and documentation methods.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of training materials and documentation.
  5. Assess training needs: Identify knowledge gaps and develop training materials to address them.
  6. Manage training sessions: Coordinate training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
  7. Utilize various training methods: Incorporate a variety of training methods, such as presentations, demos, and hands-on activities, to engage learners.
  8. Review and update existing materials: Regularly review and update existing training materials and documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  9. Provide support to end-users: Address user questions and concerns related to training materials and documentation.
  10. Maintain documentation database: Organize and maintain a database of training materials and documentation for easy accessibility.
  11. Monitor training program effectiveness: Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to continuously improve training programs.
  12. Adhere to company standards: Ensure all training materials and documentation adhere to company standards and branding guidelines.
  13. Manage multiple projects: Prioritize and manage multiple training and documentation projects simultaneously.
  14. Train new employees: Onboard new employees and provide training on company products and services.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert: Stay knowledgeable about all company products and services to effectively train and support end-users.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Or Education.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Developing And Delivering Training Materials And Documentation, Preferably In A Scientific Or Technical Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Instructional Design Principles And Adult Learning Theories.

  • Experience With Elearning Development Tools And Platforms, Such As Articulate Storyline Or Adobe Captivate.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Technical Information To Diverse Audiences.
