  1. Assist with the planning and execution of training and development programs for employees.
  2. Collaborate with team members to create engaging and interactive training materials.
  3. Conduct research to identify best practices and innovative approaches for employee development.
  4. Communicate with employees to gather feedback and make improvements to training programs.
  5. Support the coordination of training sessions and workshops, including logistics and materials preparation.
  6. Utilize various learning methods (e.g. classroom training, online learning, on-the-job training) to deliver effective training.
  7. Monitor and track employee participation and progress in training programs.
  8. Work with subject matter experts to develop and update training content.
  9. Assist in the evaluation of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in training and development.
  11. Contribute to the creation of training budgets and cost analysis for development programs.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all training activities.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of training programs with company goals and objectives.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  15. Take initiative to identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement in training and development processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Instructional Design Principles And Adult Learning Theory: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of How To Design And Deliver Effective Training Programs That Align With Adult Learning Principles.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Training And Development Co-Op, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Delivering Training Sessions To Employees At All Levels. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Experience With Learning Management Systems (Lms): Thermo Fisher Scientific Uses An Lms To Track And Manage Employee Training. The Candidate Should Have Experience With Using Lms Platforms And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Creating And Managing Training Schedules And Materials, As Well As Tracking Employee Progress. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Crucial.

  • Familiarity With Scientific And Laboratory Equipment: Thermo Fisher Scientific Is A Leading Provider Of Laboratory Equipment And Services. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Scientific And Laboratory Equipment To Effectively Train Employees On How To Use Them.
