Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for Non Standard Requests (NSR) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of non-standard products to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient supply chain operations. You will also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.   1. Coordinate and manage the delivery of non-standard products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
  3. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, customer demand, and production capacity to ensure adequate supply of non-standard products.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
  5. Identify and resolve potential supply chain issues and bottlenecks to minimize disruptions and delays.
  6. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, orders, and shipments.
  7. Continuously review and improve supply chain processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to accurately forecast demand and ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates on supply chain metrics and KPIs to management.
  11. Stay informed of industry trends and developments in supply chain management to identify opportunities for improvement.
  12. Train and mentor junior supply chain team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to supply chain management.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Supply Chain Planner - Nsr Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify Supply Chain Issues And Develop Effective Solutions. They Should Also Be Able To Use Data To Make Informed Decisions And Optimize Supply Chain Processes.

  • Supply Chain Management Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management Or Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. This Experience Should Include Working With Non-Standard Requests And Managing Supply Chain Processes For A Large Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role As The Supply Chain Planner - Nsr Will Need To Work With Various Departments And Stakeholders To Coordinate And Implement Solutions. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Supply Chain Concepts To Non-Technical Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Supply Chain Systems And Tools: Thermo Fisher Scientific Uses Various Supply Chain Systems And Tools To Manage Their Operations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Systems And Be Able To Use Them To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Supply Chain Planner - Nsr Will Often Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Manage Resources Effectively.
