- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to improve product quality.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and review supplier quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to resolve supplier quality issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement quality control plans for new and existing suppliers, including inspection procedures and process validations.
- Lead investigations into supplier-related product quality issues and provide timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain quality agreements that outline expectations and requirements for product quality.
- Monitor and track supplier performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to supplier quality and ensure compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on supplier quality processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Assurance Or Supplier Management.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In A Regulated Industry Such As Medical Devices Or Pharmaceuticals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems And Regulatory Requirements, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.
Proven Experience In Supplier Quality Management, Including Auditing And Qualification Of Suppliers, And Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Root Causes And Implement Effective Corrective And Preventive Actions.
