Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a dynamic Strategic Account Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue for our laboratory business. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to cultivate and expand relationships with our top clients.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans to cultivate and expand relationships with key clients in the laboratory industry.
  2. Identify and target new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  3. Create and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of customer needs.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  6. Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  9. Represent the company at industry conferences and events to network and generate new business.
  10. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments to effectively present solutions to clients.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates on account activities, sales, and forecasts.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and implement targeted strategies for key accounts.
  13. Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions in CRM system.
  14. Travel to client sites as needed to build and maintain relationships and drive sales.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency within the account management function.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Laboratory Sales Or A Related Field, With A Proven Track Record Of Achieving And Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Discipline, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry, Or A Business-Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Laboratory Industry, Including Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Consumables, As Well As An Understanding Of Industry Trends And Challenges.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders In The Customer's Organization.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Execute Strategic Account Plans, Including Identifying And Pursuing New Business Opportunities And Effectively Managing A Portfolio Of Accounts.
