We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Scientist to join our team and support our Large Molecule LCMS division in a GMP environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the development and validation of cutting-edge LCMS methods for large molecule bioanalysis.   1. Develop and validate cutting-edge LCMS methods for large molecule bioanalysis in a GMP environment.
  2. Conduct scientific research and analysis to support the advancement of science.
  3. Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve project goals.
  4. Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
  5. Utilize analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation to analyze and interpret data.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during method development and validation.
  7. Train and mentor junior staff members on LCMS techniques and procedures.
  8. Participate in internal and external audits to maintain the highest quality standards.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and scientific advancements to continuously improve methods and processes.
  10. Communicate results and findings to colleagues and management through written reports and presentations.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Chemistry, Biochemistry, Or Related Field: A Staff Scientist In This Role At Thermo Fisher Scientific Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree, With A Preference For Candidates With A Phd, In A Relevant Field Of Study. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Scientific Principles And The Ability To Conduct Complex Research.

  • Extensive Experience With Large Molecule Lcms: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Large Molecule Lcms Techniques, Such As Protein Characterization, Peptide Mapping, And Glycan Analysis. This Experience Should Also Include A Strong Understanding Of Gmp Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Staff Scientist, The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Data Is Crucial. Candidates Should Have A Demonstrated Track Record Of Using Their Analytical Skills To Identify And Solve Complex Scientific Problems.

  • Knowledge Of Gmp Regulations: Thermo Fisher Scientific Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And As Such, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Gmp Regulations And Guidelines. This Includes Experience With Regulatory Submissions, Quality Control, And Compliance With Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Team Player And Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Staff Scientist At Thermo Fisher Scientific Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Others And Communicate Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. This Includes Presenting Findings And Recommendations To Management And Contributing To Cross-Functional Teams.
