1. Accurately and efficiently handle the movement of materials through the warehouse.
2. Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for production and shipment.
3. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
4. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to optimize space and ensure efficient retrieval.
5. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
8. Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
9. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, dusting, and removing any potential hazards.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, quality standards, safety regulations, and attendance guidelines.
12. Train and mentor new material handlers as needed.
13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the warehouse.
14. Communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding any concerns or issues.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific.
