Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr Manager of Procurement for our Clinical Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for clinical services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services while maintaining high quality standards.   1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for the Clinical Services division in alignment with the overall company objectives.
  2. Oversee the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract negotiation and vendor management.
  3. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services while maintaining high quality standards.
  4. Monitor market trends and identify potential suppliers to ensure a diverse and competitive supply chain.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
  6. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies to support them.
  8. Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing them where applicable to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  10. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement.
  11. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement function.
  12. Represent the company in negotiations and meetings with suppliers, stakeholders, and other external parties.
  13. Train and educate team members on procurement best practices and company policies.
  14. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus within the procurement team.
  15. Support the company's mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through the procurement of high-quality products and services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Experience In Procurement, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Clinical Services Industry And The Procurement Process For Medical Devices, Equipment, And Supplies.

  • Strong Negotiation And Contract Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Vendor Relationships And Achieving Cost Savings.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities, With Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Driving Process Improvements.
