As the Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.   1. Develop and implement company-wide EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing EHS programs and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and identify potential hazards.
  4. Oversee the training and education of employees on EHS policies, procedures, and practices.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  6. Manage and maintain all necessary permits and records related to EHS compliance.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on EHS issues and provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stay up-to-date on changes in EHS regulations.
  9. Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.
  10. Develop and monitor metrics to track EHS performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  11. Develop and manage the EHS budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  12. Stay informed of emerging EHS trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the company.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization through effective communication and training initiatives.
  14. Mentor and develop EHS team members to ensure a high level of knowledge and expertise within the department.
  15. Ensure all EHS initiatives align with the company's overall goals and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Ehs Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Ehs Programs And Initiatives.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Motivate A Team.
