1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business needs and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs.
4. Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFx development, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
6. Monitor and analyze market trends and developments to identify potential risks and opportunities and proactively adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
7. Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and laws.
9. Provide regular reporting and analysis on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
10. Mentor and train junior procurement staff and share best practices with the wider procurement team.
