Job Description

As a Sample Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and tracking samples, ensuring accurate and timely testing, and maintaining a high level of quality control.   1. Manage and track all incoming and outgoing samples in a timely and organized manner.
  2. Ensure accurate and efficient testing of samples by following established protocols and procedures.
  3. Maintain a high level of quality control by adhering to strict laboratory guidelines and regulations.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate sample processing and testing.
  5. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with samples and work collaboratively to find solutions.
  6. Maintain detailed and accurate records of sample information, testing results, and any other relevant data.
  7. Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies for sample processing.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in sample management.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements to contribute to the improvement of laboratory operations.
  11. Collaborate with scientists and other team members to contribute to groundbreaking scientific research.
  12. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet tight deadlines.
  13. Train and supervise new team members as needed.
  14. Act as a point of contact for any sample-related inquiries or issues from internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field Or Equivalent Work Experience.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Or Sample Coordination Role.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines.

  • Knowledge Of Proper Handling And Storage Of Biological Or Chemical Samples.

  • Familiarity With Laboratory Information Management Systems (Lims) And Data Entry.
