
QC Scientist II

- Conduct quality control testing on products to ensure accuracy, reliability and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize analytical techniques and instrumentation to perform testing and analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
- Review and interpret test results, identifying any deviations or abnormalities and taking appropriate actions to address them.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality control activities, including test results, equipment calibration, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and manufacturing, to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize quality control procedures and increase efficiency.
- Stay current with industry developments and changes in regulations related to quality control, and incorporate them into company practices.
- Train and mentor junior QC staff in proper testing techniques and procedures.
- Communicate product quality issues and findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while performing job duties.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Chemistry, Biochemistry, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Quality Control Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Cgmp Regulations And Experience With Regulatory Inspections.
Experience With Analytical Techniques Such As Hplc, Gc, And Spectrophotometry.
