- Manage and coordinate the procurement process for materials and supplies needed for the organization.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify the best suppliers and negotiate optimal pricing and terms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to maintain an adequate supply of materials.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to drive efficiency in the purchasing process.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays in delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as any relevant regulations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to continually improve the purchasing process.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on purchasing activities and cost savings achieved.
- Train and mentor junior purchasing staff, as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with team members and suppliers.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Purchasing Or Procurement Role.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Build Relationships With Suppliers.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain And Inventory Management Processes.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Purchasing Software Systems.
