  1. Assist in managing the lifecycle of products from concept to retirement, ensuring timely and efficient product development and launch.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor strategies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment and timely execution of product initiatives.
  4. Help develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business objectives and customer feedback.
  5. Support the product launch process by coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth and successful product introductions.
  6. Monitor product performance and provide regular reports and updates to management.
  7. Help develop and implement strategies to optimize product lifecycle management, including product extensions, upgrades, and retirement.
  8. Participate in product testing and validation, ensuring products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  9. Assist in managing product documentation, including product specifications, manuals, and technical documents.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends, making recommendations for product improvements and enhancements.
  11. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  13. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  14. Complete other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Product Lifecycle Management Process: A Qualified Intern Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Product Lifecycle Management Process, Including Product Conception, Development, Launch, And Retirement.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Fda Regulations And Iso 13485, Is Essential For A Plm Intern At Thermo Fisher Scientific.

  • Proficiency In Plm Software: Thermo Fisher Scientific Uses Various Plm Software, Such As Arena Plm And Windchill, For Managing Product Data. The Intern Should Have Experience Using These Software Or Similar Plm Tools.

  • Attention To Detail: The Intern Must Possess Excellent Attention To Detail Skills To Ensure Accurate And Complete Product Data Entry, As Well As To Identify And Resolve Any Discrepancies In Product Information.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Plm Intern At Thermo Fisher Scientific To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Managers, Engineers, And Quality Assurance, To Ensure A Smooth Product Lifecycle Process.
