Procurement Specialist (Market Trends and Pricing)
You will make an impact by collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and vendors to identify and realize improvements in quality, delivery and price. Providing input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, and backlogs. Track market trends and inflation to mitigate costs. Execute projects and implement efficiencies to make the Chemicals Buying Team a true center of excellence. Work with Category Management to set chemicals buying strategy. Work with Product Management to set pricing strategy. Produce quarterly report on Chemicals Market Trends.
2+ years of experience in market trends and analysis
Super user in procurement spend and savings analytics tools or process (such as Tamr, Jaggaer, QuickBase) preferred
Self-driven, results oriented, and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision
