- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems, and develop effective solutions to quickly resolve problems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Continuously monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or installations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in maintenance technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management to report progress, issues, and concerns.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area, and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Experience In Industrial Maintenance: A Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician At Thermo Fisher Scientific Must Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Industrial Maintenance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment. This Experience Should Include Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining A Variety Of Equipment And Systems.
Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems: Candidates Must Possess A Strong Working Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems, Including Motors, Pumps, Conveyors, And Other Production Equipment. This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical Schematics And Mechanical Drawings.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Must Possess Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Diagnose Complex Issues Quickly. They Should Be Able To Identify The Root Cause Of Problems And Develop Effective Solutions To Minimize Downtime.
Familiarity With Safety Standards And Regulations: Thermo Fisher Scientific Places A High Priority On Safety In The Workplace. Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Standards And Regulations, Including Osha Guidelines, And Be Committed To Following Proper Safety Protocols At All Times.
