Strong Academic Background In Mechanical Engineering: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Engineering Principles And Concepts.
Proficiency In Cad Software: Thermo Fisher Scientific Utilizes Cad Software For Designing And Prototyping Products. Candidates Should Have Experience With Popular Cad Software Such As Autocad, Solidworks, Or Pro/Engineer.
Knowledge Of Materials And Manufacturing Processes: As A Mechanical Engineering Co-Op, Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Materials And Manufacturing Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Properties, Selection, And Testing Of Materials, As Well As Experience With Various Manufacturing Methods Such As Machining, Injection Molding, And 3D Printing.
