Job Description

You will provide scientific expertise and leadership in identifying market opportunities and new areas of mass spectrometry application in the translational proteomics research markets. You will manage a team of scientific experts and marketing professionals to define and bring to market LC-MS/MS, sample preparation, data analysis products and solutions. You will work across the organization to set business priorities and specifications for products that address urgent customer needs. Develop a vision and establish goals to drive growth in translational proteomics portfolio. Develop a business plan, product/workflow roadmap and applications roadmap to drive translational proteomics' portfolio into the discovery research space. Work with the sales team in the as a market development person to provide scientific presentation, discussion, and support when needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred: Ph.D. in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and/or cell biology.

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional work experience, with at least 5 years directly passionate about translational proteomics

  • An in-depth understanding of cell biology, and microbiology methods, including aseptic manipulations in a cleanroom environment is desirable.

  • Proven skills in laboratory procedures, virology is a plus.
