
Manager, Medical Writing
We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Medical Writing to join the team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Medical Writing team and managing the development of high-quality, accurate medical documents in support of the company's clinical studies.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical writing, with a degree in medicine, life sciences, or a related field. You should also have excellent organizational and project management skills, and be highly proficient in writing in English. Additionally, you should have a passionate commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, as well as a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.If you have the required qualifications and are ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Medical Writing team and manage the development of high-quality, accurate medical documents.
- Maintain a passionate commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure all documents are written in English to a high standard.
- Develop project plans and timelines.
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Ensure documents adhere to regulatory guidelines and international standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical writers.
- Review and edit written documents for accuracy and consistency.
