- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales targets in the San Diego region.
- Identify and target potential customers in the research, clinical, and industrial markets to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our lab consumables and convince potential customers to make a purchase.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues from customers.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in a professional and positive manner at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and product offerings are optimized.
- Continuously update knowledge of our products, services, and industry developments to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs.
- Travel within the San Diego region, as needed, to meet with customers and attend events.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical and legal standards, to maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Sales.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Sales Role, Preferably In The Scientific Or Biotech Industry.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To A Diverse Customer Base.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory And Scientific Consumables, Including An Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape In The San Diego Market.
