- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Thermo Fisher Scientific's lab consumables product line and their applications in scientific research and healthcare industries.
- Identify and actively pursue new sales opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with potential customers.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing exceptional service and promoting new products and solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by utilizing effective sales techniques, such as consultative selling and solution-based selling.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of Thermo Fisher Scientific's lab consumables to potential and existing customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential market opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Continuously develop and maintain product knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology Or Chemistry.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Life Science Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Equipment And Consumables, Including Knowledge Of Thermo Fisher Scientific Products.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Customers.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets, With A Strong Understanding Of The San Diego Market And Customer Needs.
