  1. Provide technical support and expertise for Thermo Fisher Scientific's laboratory equipment and solutions.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to drive innovative solutions and support business growth.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations and trainings for customers and sales representatives.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in the life sciences field to continuously improve product knowledge and support.
  5. Act as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing any technical issues or concerns.
  6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  7. Participate in conferences, workshops, and other events to promote Thermo Fisher Scientific and build relationships with key stakeholders in the scientific community.
  8. Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from the field to drive product improvements.
  9. Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Contribute to the development of marketing materials and product campaigns.
  11. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new opportunities and areas for growth.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports of customer interactions and product performance.
  14. Continuously develop and expand knowledge in the life sciences field to remain a subject matter expert.
  15. Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences Or Related Field: A Lab Application Scientist Must Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Biotechnology. A Phd Is Preferred In Some Cases.

  • Experience In Laboratory Techniques And Instrumentation: This Role Requires Hands-On Experience With Various Laboratory Techniques And Instrumentation, Such As Pcr, Hplc, And Mass Spectrometry. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Techniques And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.

  • Fluency In French And English: As This Is A Position Based In France, Fluency In Both French And English Is Essential. The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Both Internal And External Stakeholders Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Lab Application Scientist Must Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Develop And Validate New Methods And Troubleshoot Technical Issues. The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively Is Essential.

  • Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role: This Position Involves Working Closely With Customers To Understand Their Needs And Provide Technical Support And Training. Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Such As Technical Support Or Sales, Is Highly Desirable.
