- Oversee and manage inventory control processes for Thermo Fisher Scientific, ensuring accurate and timely inventory levels.
- Maintain and update inventory databases and systems, tracking product quantities and locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential issues or discrepancies, taking corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments, including purchasing, sales, and production, to ensure inventory needs are met.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits and physical counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Train and mentor new inventory team members on processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory status and needs.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to inventory policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety regulations.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Manufacturing Or Distribution Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control Principles And Techniques, Including Cycle Counting And Inventory Reconciliation.
Proficient In Using Inventory Management Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Excellent Organizational And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
