This critical role will oversee a team of packaging operators, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely packaging of our products.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the packaging department on the 2nd shift.
  2. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of packaging operators to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  3. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  5. Monitor production schedules and adjust manpower and resources as needed to meet deadlines and production goals.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Control and Supply Chain, to ensure timely and accurate packaging of products.
  7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to maintain high-quality standards and promote individual growth.
  8. Continuously monitor and improve packaging processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  9. Maintain inventory levels and track packaging materials to ensure availability for production.
  10. Participate in hiring and training processes for new packaging operators to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team.
  11. Communicate effectively with upper management, providing updates on production and addressing any issues or concerns.
  12. Lead by example and promote a culture of quality and excellence in all packaging operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Packaging Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Packaging Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Team Leadership And Meeting Production Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Packaging Equipment: Familiarity With Various Packaging Equipment And Machinery Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Packaging Processes And Be Able To Troubleshoot Equipment Issues.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Group Leader, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Packaging Operators. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including Communication, Delegation, And Conflict Resolution, Are Necessary For Success In This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Packaging Process Requires A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail To Ensure Products Are Packaged Correctly And Meet Quality Standards. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Resolve Any Potential Issues.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Packaging Industry Is Fast-Paced And Constantly Evolving, Which Requires The Ability To Adapt To Changing Situations And Priorities. The Candidate Should Be Flexible And Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Efficiently To Meet Production Demands.
