Global Trade Specialist

Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining programs, policies, procedures and controls to ensure site-wide compliance in accordance with guidelines of CBP (Custom and Border Patrol) and other relevant agencies. Ensure day-to-day monitoring of all exports and imports compliance task Conduct post entry audits of all import and export files. Audit import entry filings; resolve discrepancies, request appropriate corrections, reconcile or protest as appropriate; verify valuation methodology. Ensure current HTS classifications and country of origin information. Manage import/export recordkeeping process in compliance with guidelines set forth by CBP. Ensure that proposed transactions are screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, and diversion. Work with Division’s Global Trade Compliance Manager to address any issues with U.S. Customs and with associates worldwide to address customs issues in individual countries. Ensure proper classification, valuation, and origin determination of imported/export of goods. Assists in internal audits & assessments.
