- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of international trade regulations and laws to ensure compliance with global trade requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure company's trade activities are in line with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including legal, finance, and supply chain, to establish and maintain global trade compliance processes and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate changes in international trade regulations and advise relevant stakeholders on potential impacts to business operations.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain necessary trade compliance licenses, permits, and registrations.
- Work closely with customs brokers and other third-party service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of import/export documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate reports and updates on trade compliance activities to management.
- Drive continuous improvement in global trade compliance processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and proactively identify areas for improvement in trade compliance practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, International Trade, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Global Trade Compliance, Preferably In A Multinational Corporation
Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations, Including Export Controls, Customs Laws, And Trade Sanctions
Experience With Managing Import/Export Processes, Including Classification, Licensing, And Documentation
Strong Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Navigate Complex Global Trade Issues And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
